Soon Ben, Carmine and I were sitting around our table drinking coffee and discussing the possibility of making a Treasure Hunt to Buenos Aires.
Carmen pulled a faded Christmas card and wadded up photo from her purse. Believe me, her eyes were dancing. "This is the last mail I got from Mario; he sent it in 1970 from Buenos Aires."

No way anybody could recognize the person in the picture. Ben and I looked at each other and rolled our eyes!!
Offended, Carmine said, "If that is the way you're gonna be, just keep your old monopoly money. I will draw every cent out of my savings account to pay for the trip for Beanie and me." Then she began to cry.
"Wait, Carmine. True 1970 is a long time ago, and Mario could have moved many times by now. But we could start in Buenos Aires and see what happens. But you will have to get the airline schedule and information, okay?!" I said sheepishly.
Triumphantly Carmine showed me the sheet she had already printed out with the information for us to leave TOMORROW!! "Now all you have to do, Annie, is pay for the tickets!"
Carmine's cell phone rang. "Its Beanie." Carmine answered. "We are GOING!! Woo hoo." So I was bested by my two dear friends.
Laughing, Ben finally spoke. "By the way, don't get me a ticket."
What a day....Tomorrow will be very busy...Not sure if I can write ya'll again until Friday morning. annie in memphis
