Last night the phone rang just as I had fallen asleep. “Annie, I need you!!?” I answered, “Beanie, where in the world are you? I have been trying to call you all week.” She told me she is in Barrow, Alaska. I answered, “WHAT IN THE WORLD?!!” She didn't want me to worry, so she didn't tell me~~Wha?
She had a little mission to carry out for her late husband there…and now…she is afraid to get back on a plane to come home. She is so frightened she won’t even leave the hotel!!!Would I, could I get together enough more monopoly money to come up there? She reminded me of the many times she had helped me out from first grade all the way through high school and beyond…COULD I DO IT? Of course!!! So this morning I checked the weather in Barrow….the high today is 27 with some sun. The picture above was made in July, so guess it would show a little snow on the ground now. Don’t see snow forecast this week; I guess I better check out the airlines and get on up there tomorrow morning!! In Memphis the temperature right now is 80 degrees and sunny!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! If Beanie needs me, I can do it!!Goodnight, annie
